Our Mission

The mission of William A. Bell School #60 is to challenge all students to reach their maximum academic potential. By maintaining high expectations and providing a cooperative, enthusiastic, student-centered environment, students will be encouraged to develop the essential skills outlined in the IPS curriculum guide. Toward this end, we believe that:

  • All students can learn.
  • All students have the ability to improve academically.
  • Learning is a process that progresses at varying rates.
  • Students have different learning styles.
  • Students need a safe, positive environment in order to learn.
  • Students need the cooperation of both school and parents in order to learn best.

Our Student Mission Statement:

I am a School 60 Tiger. I take pride in my home, my school and my community. Learning is my top priority. I respect my parents, my teachers and most of all myself. I am smart.  I am talented. And I will achieve!
